hi again, btw i've changed my signature as i had learned that my bike is '97

anyway, i've seen in Givi site that there's a screen compatible for Dommie however it's almost impossible to find one in the dealers or it will cost too much for me as it would be 200 USD

I'll ask at the dealer's on Saturday if you like, as they're a Givi dealer - see how much the screen is over here :dontknow:

OK, just rang them, and smoked screen 194D + the fitting kit is £35.95 + VAT so £42.25 ($74 or TRY99)

Pre-91 has a different nose, so that won't fit.

I've had a high screen on the dommie once, it sucked. :-)
Had it on for 1 ride, and it drove me mad with the noise and the buffeting, and that was just riding at inner city speeds...

I've sawn off the high screen, it's now even shorter than the stock part, and I like it that way. ;-)

Compare this to the stock screen, that's missing an inch or 2, nice and low:

For the centre stand, it looks like Riky Cross (http://www.rikycross.it/principale.htm) in Italy do one, along with a new bash plate. Best to check with them first as to whether it fits a '00 :dontknow:

The MRA screen is listed as for pre-91s only, so don't know if it would fit your RD08.

I bought a short screen for my '88 and a tall screen for my '99 from Visual Screens in New Zealand. The url is www.bikescreens.com It's been a couple of years but I think approximately $100 USD. The tall screen really calmed down the ride over 120km/h. Great service from VS. I had a "self fabricated" screen on the '88 made from laboriously heat bent plexiglass. Didn't look too bad, but alas it bit the dust on Thunder Road (of movie fame) in North Carolina.

Sam, thank you very much, but how will it cost with the shipping to Turkey? I've asked to Givi and MRA dealers, they had none in stocks but can deliver to 120 EUR (144 USD) and divide into 3 with the credit card

All depends on how much it weighs, I suppose. Up to 4kg would be £30 ($52 or TRY70) on the economy parcel service from the Isle of Man, so not an awful lot different. Cheapest way would be if someone was going to Turkey on holiday, or you were going outside Turkey, I'd aimagine
