Permission Forbidden Error

Anyone else been getting permission forbidden errors when trying to do things on the site, i.e. trying to post.

Just want to see if its just me, and how wide spread the problem is.

I've just got a mail from Mabel reporting the same error, so I've reported it to our web hosts.

To get over this I've found that you need to click back and copy your text out of the reply box.
Click somewhere else... go back to the thread in question and reply again, paste in your text and then it should be ok.

Nope, no pattern, and it appears to have stopped now

Ok we now know what this is.
Its the software that's been loaded to prevent SQL injection attacks (hacking to all you non tech's out there) on the server.
It's a bit overzealous at the moment.
Our web hosts are looking at it and monitoring it with a view to tweaking it.
Its a fine line between a legitimate post and one that looks like a hack attempt, especially with the volume and stuff that Chad posts. :mrgreen:
I think it has Chad down as a certain hacker.

Well he's got Firefox and Gmail so pretty soon he'll be looking to expand on this knowledge base and who knows where that will get him.... :D

OK our web hosts have said that tweaked the software so this stop happening.
Can you therefore report on here when it happens please.
So that I can track numbers, and frequency.

Right despite continuing problems with this reappearing I'm told by our hosts it should have been resolved now.
So once again if you get these problems can you post back here, but hopefully they're sorted now.
