Hi all
Thought I would let you know what happened to me this week on E Bay.

I was bidding on a set of wheels and tyres for the bike, got in touch with the vendor asking how much they wanted for them. Reply came back, looking for £140-£150,no probs,I emailed back on the Monday saying that I would pay the £150,and to phone me on the Tuesday to make arrangements(Paypal is jerking me around at the moment!),phone after 6 in the evening.
Email comes back saying that they will phone after 6 on Tuesday. :D

Needless to say, the A...holes didn't phone and I watched the bids going up all week, guess what, item withdrawn from sale Friday evening, last bid was £200,which only goes to prove that, just because People own Dommie's,it don't it don't make them a nice person!

Just arranged for a new set of tyres to be fitted,Pirelli MT90s,I'll let you know what they ride like. :)

Theres another set on now (no, there're not mine!!) although I wouldn't mind a spare set for a little offroad action.!!
Have you sold those exhausts on yet?

No,I'm trying to get the captive nut spot welded back on. The moron that took them off, didn't bother to undo the allen bolt on the the long pipe and just ripped it of,leaving the captive nut on the inside of the frame.

I have now removed said nut,and secured my rattling exhaust. When he ripped the pipe off,he also pulled the little spot weld off the pipe leaving a hole about 4mm across, which I want to get re-done.

I checked with the makers MTC exhausts and, they are not road legal! I'll let you know when it is fixed,if you're still interested,if not I'll put them on ebay and see what happens,I'm also changing my tyres on Friday so I'll have a set of off-road tyres that might go on there to!

I've given up on the wheels for the moment, but did manage to get a pair of front pipes for £33 on ebay,so I'll be changing them sometime in the near future.

Dave :D
