Keep getting logged out

Don't know if the logins automatically timeout but my session keeps getting logged out and then I seem to also loose my read/unread post settings.

Any ideas?

What browser are you using, and what anti-virus, firewall, and spyware solution do you have please?

I'm using Firefox 1.5.0.4 on a Mac running OS 10.4.7.

AV is Virex 7.7 (build 163) and I haven't bothered with any spyware (yet).

Firewall is router-based packet filters but all established port 80 connections should be fine - I haven't had any problems with other sites, but then I don't look at other sites as heavily as this one :lol:

Anything obvious strike you?

Nothing obvious, and as its a Mac there's your problem. ;-)
Seriously I was thinking about something that was controlling cookies in some way, as this is what determines whether you need to log-on or not.
So make sure that cookies are turned on and they persist, at least for this site.
That's the only thing I can think of.

It still keeps happening. Probably something that Firefox isn't doing right with its cookies. Beyond me.

I'll just have to read the forums more often to keep up :wink:

Hmm well no-one else is reporting any problems so it suggests that its a setting or something.

I have a work-around. If I stay logged on with the Forum Index page up I don't get logged out. If I leave the browser pointed at any of the individual forums then I get logged out after a while. :D
