Just thought I'd post some proper pics up of my new bike.
It's now on 6K miles rather than the 5.4 I picked it up with.

Have just fitted the Autocom, and various other bits and bobs that needed doing.
Ordered Hepko and Beccer engine bars, a Givi Top Case, Accessory Socket, and some other bits to be fitted at the end of the week.

Which reminds me, I wonder if I can pull that old fence pole out of the ground with the GS... Might have to try sometime. ;-)

LOL!
I never noticed that.
I'd just washed it, and water collects in the sump guard so I guess that was the cause.

Right an update after 1.1K miles.

I love the power of the 1150. It cruises beautifully at 80-90 with still more to come if you need it. Its a great road bike and I'm now chucking it in to corners with gay abandon. No chicken strips on this bike!
I have Michelin T66x's on which look like they've been on since new, they are very confidence inspiring.

Wheelie's off the throttle which feels great.

It's got a great seat although I've improved it still further with the Air Hawk.
It's very comfortable and I can now easily do several hundred miles with no problem.

So all in all road manners are very very good.

Off-road is obviously to come! Engine bars waiting in the garage to be fitted.

Have a good read at this (http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2116) before attempting to fit your crash bars. It will save you alot of frustration, panic and tears in the long run
