Just been roaring around my estate on this. Not a trail bike but I did stand up on the pegs for the speed humps, so I reckon it's okay to post it here. I'm MOTing it tomorrow for a friend, 30 minutes after taking my DR350 for it's MOT.

Itīs cool :thumb:
There was a similar bike to that one where I live, only it was black and had no silencer, could hear it for miles, partially cause it took forever to do those miles, but it sure made a ruckus whenever it went by

I had just had to remove the carb and clean all the jets because the bike would start but not rev above tickover. It's amazing how quickly you can do something like that on a basic single, took me about 15 minutes overall, wish the AT was that easy. Cured it though, need to fit a fuel filter but couldn't find the one I know I have somewhere in the garage.

Hah. Don't get your hopes up if you ever get a dommie, then. ;-)
(Swapping jets, personal best: 90 minutes.)

It's the wrong kind of chopper it's had a cylinder chopped off, I thought those Hurley's were supposed to be V-Twins :?

I will admit to riding not only down the backstreets to the MOT place (it passed) but even through a road closure to avoid sitting at some traffic lights. Sort of enjoyed the ride back, but still kept off the beaten track.

And wearing an old jacket and fullface helmet, in lieu of the more traditional brown paper bag? ;-)

I had something very simmilar to that , way back in the days when I had hair !! It was a Honda CM250T I think ? , a kind of chopper version of the Superdream. I bought it about 1984
I just don't own up to it very often , don't even know why I'm admitting to it here - must be a sort of death wish??
Do your worst .............

Not a bad engine on those, I had an XT250 once with (almost?) the same power-plant. Loads of fun, yet another typical case of "why-the-heck-did-I-ever-sell-that-jewell-for-such-a-piss-poor-low-price"

Do your worst .............First bike I ever rode in the whole widest world was the CM200 which looked very similar to the 250. I remember it had electric and kick start, was 12 volt (quite rare for a small bike then) and only had 4 gears. Seemed huge at the time, would love to see one in the flesh now. Would it be like me seeing a Raleigh Chopper a few years ago in a trendy Greenwich shop and thinking, 'god that's so little, was I really impressed with that fancy gear lever on the frame?'

It runs him up to central London every so often. Nice bikes.
