Can any of our Scottish members help me please?
On radio 4 yesterday, and also on TV they were saying that the oil refinery workers strike is deffo on, and lots of petrol stations have already run out due to panic buying. Then you change channels, and they say there's no problem.
I'm meant to be coming to Scotland on the bike, but I really don't know if I should, or postpone till later. What is the situation? what's going on? I need to know what's happening away from the large towns and cities also - the news concentrates on Glasgow and Edinburgh etc...

Don't put off coming ........... some arseholes are filling up when they normaly put in a tenners worth, but there is plenty of fuel in the supply chain. Once the blip created by the panic merchants is over the normal linear supply profile will be resumed with less demand because the arseholes (who created the blip) will then be burning off their surplus and return to their normal buying habits. All is well.

I hope you enjoy your trip. :thumbright:
