40k miles on 2007 tiger 1050

hit the 40,000 miles point on monday. had a bit of a practice run for the e2e over the weekend. went from hastings to stranraer (490 miles) on friday which took just under 9 hrs including stops, phone calls, coffee etc. got the ferry and then rode from larne to bushmills via joeys bar in ballymoney (well it seemed a bit rude not to!) went to the NW200 on the Saturday then out for a meal and a few beers in the Lodge hotel in Colraine (good food) got up sunday morning and rode home - managing stranraer to hastings in 7 and a half hours. (speeding??? moi??:angel7:) bike was superb! 2187 miles in a week! brilliant bike!!!!

Glad to hear you're having a good time on the 1050, I'm not completely sold on one yet, but you never know, I think the Yamaha 660 is too small and I can't see myself on a Beemer so I think the 1050's probably the favourite!
Good to see 40,000 miles and it's still going strong, especially after the rocky start you had with the bike. I'll have another look at the 1050!
