It's amazing how this strikes a chord with people - I'm still getting money given to me
A guy in a van on the ferry yesterday, asked what the windscreen sticker
was all about - then threw me a tenner !!
When Chunk and I stopped at Taunton services on the way down , the wee guy who sells RAC membership - coughed up a couple of quid.
Everyone it seems - knows someone who suffers/ has suffered / or succumbed to this cursed disease.
Keep up the good work lads and lassies.

She's very good at limping home through a war zone, half starved ,after having saved a child's life, and mended a broken marriage, and lead other dumb animals to safety in a storm.
Then I just boot her up the erse for wandering off and coming home covered in mud !!! :D:D

just added what I collected on the way up to the pot and noticed that Rob, one of the Rocket riders that came down with us had donated too..
Did I tell you about the 2 donations I got on my way up to Scotland - a guy on a Triumph Tiger stopped to chat to me in a layby, we got talking about the stickers etc, then he goes and fishes £10 out his pocket and says "for the charity". Later that day I was talking to an elderly couple about the LD in the Applecross Inn Pub - he was retracing a walking route he did in 1954 (by car this time). Anyway as he left he produced £20. People really really surprise me sometimes.
