You'd be fine I imagine Raven, we're thinking of giving the motorways a bit of a miss....But I don't understand why you would want to start from the Ace..long way round for you.

We could meet you on the way if you wanted...although there's quite a few from your part of the island going...up to you mate.

Originally I was up in London on the Wednesday so it would of made a bit more sense, but the person I was seeing up there broke their leg so thats off now :rolleyes:. Enjoy the ride there anyway :thumb:

What route will you be taking down. That's the sort of time I will be heading off from Oxford, if it's not to much hassle I could meet you somewhere on the way, unless that makes it all to complicated.:confused:

I've had no luck sorting the the Alp engine.

Arranged to view a bike tomorrow...Fella said that suited him better than today, then phoned this evening to tell me it was sold...not happy but not surprised either....seems to be the way people operate nowadays.....Not much integrity about

I accept it....'bird in the hand' and all that......

Anyway.....probably blows my chance of the National.

I'm not done yet though.....:)

Arranged to view a bike tomorrow...Fella said that suited him better than today, then phoned this evening to tell me it was sold...not happy but not surprised either....seems to be the way people operate nowadays.....Not much integrity about

Anyway.....probably blows my chance of the National.

I haven't given up....just don't want to fall in the trap of buying a bike in a hurry.....

'course, I have noticed that near Dartmoor there's an adventure style bike for sale........get meself there early on... buy the bike unseen.....nip round to the camp site and set up tent..simple....(except for the tent bit :rolleyes:)

I believe also that Steve (Devonne) also has had bike problems....(dead starter button if anyone wants to pm him...already mentioned side stand switch to him).:(

Yeah...It is that one...I know it doesn't get out much. [EDIT; Fella emailed me.....nice of him.....not for sale..pointed him to forum]

There's another one in Belgravia (must be as posh as me)....All tarted up with stickers, lagging on the crash bars and Italian flag sticker......NO NUMBER PLATE, although it does seem to change parking bays regularly, so seems to be used......someone on here.....:confused:
