Regs for the Cambrian Rally in October are here (http://www.ukoffroad.info/Cambrian2008/2008CambrianRegs.html/2008CambrianRegs.html/regs.html). The Cambrian is probably the best suited of the UK rallys for bigger trail bikes like the Africa Twin and Transalp, with lots of easy forestry tracks and a minimal amount of true off-road. It's also part of the Big Bike Challenge (http://www.bigbikechallenge.co.uk/) which sees a few members of this forum involved. There are three Hondas in the multi-cylinder class (http://www.bigbikechallenge.co.uk/big-trail-bike-rally-challenge-results-2008.html#Overall), and quite a few XR650s in the singles class.

Is it too late to apply?

Would guess TKC80's are a must?

its not too late to enter. I'd say tkcs are a minimum tyre, there's lots of choice out there.

Hopefully going to this one too. Again, anyone know if AC10s will be allowed?

:D

Just checked, "any road legal tyre", so yep, all is OK!

I had planned to do this with Barftone but decided against it when I saw how much it costs , I know I know I'm a tight-arse but I can have a weekend out trail-riding for that sort of money :D

Anyway we will be in the area so we may come along to watch and cheer you on
