Hi All,
I'm a newbie from Orpington, just aquired a nearly new XL1000VA, I was tempted to the large side by a guy from work, "Just try it, once wont hurt..."
Anyway hi to you all.
Regards Chris.

As digitalcaptive has just said, welcome to the site, we'd like to see some pictures of your lovely bike so come on get snapping.
We have a very active Varadero bit (http://www.xrv.org.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=37) here, if you look really hard you may even find some pictures of the mighty varadero off road. Take a look, you'll be surprised at what those beasts can do.
You will want to have a look into the meetings section (http://www.xrv.org.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=40) for details of planned rides and if there is nothing there then post one up and see who is about.
Don't get too tied up in the Vara bit though you will be expected to pull up a chair and put your feet up in the Chatter (http://www.xrv.org.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=41), this is where we stop and have a gossip, and if your lucky you may well find the topics in there are bike related, wouldn't hold your breath though they talk about everything in there.
After you have been here a while you may want to think about subscribing as well, fairly soon some of the functions that you currently have will no longer be available without subscription, it's just a way for us to be able to improve the site and add extra functions. If you look at the top of the page you will see the subscribe button. If it's not something you want to do that's fine too, you will still be able to post and read the posts that are here so don't go anywhere.
If there is anything you want to ask or if you have any problems then post in the problems with the forum section (http://www.xrv.org.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=46)there are lots of helpful moderators and admins around that will help
