Just fitted UFO handguards i bought from Busters £39.99.Cheaper than the Yamaha ones.When i removed the original bar ends i found that they were secured by a rubber plug with a metal centre which was glued to the bar i had to drill this rubber plug out then clean up the residue.The UFO internal clamps were to small so i made alloy bushes then they were straight forward to fit.I hope to be fitting Renthals in a few weeks so those bushes will not be needed.

I'll be interested how you get on fitting the renthals - is the pipe diameter bigger than stock on those bars and if so, what do you do about throttle tubes?

The stock Yamaha and the Renthals are both 22mm.
