I got home about 17:30, great weekend, great people, roll on next year!

Got home about 4.15. Zebra's Reg/rec had failed (as Annette Suspected) so I had to have a bump start at the Plume and make sure everything was turned off (lights, Sat Nav etc) to restart on the two very short stops.
Have unpacked and put everything away now.
Must be time for another beer.
Awesome weekend, particularly for the ten of us who lived up to the "where we're going we don't need roads" logo.
Now the Zebra repairs begin in earnest.
Good to meet new or less-familiar faces as well as all the old hands.

Stormforce8 and I got home at 7pm. A great ride back. as a bonus, we've got an extra bike tucked away in the garage too:D
Lost property found so far:
One mobile phone headset (Whealie it might be yours)
One starcom type cable (the bit that goes from the bike to the helmet) - found where the bikes were parked for the photo shoot on Saturday.

Yep, loved it. I am going to have to see what J has done to his GPS though, he seems to have had an upgrade. you know the route planner where it says go via.......
His has the option of go via....... "the grassiest, muddiest, slipperyiest roads you can find and if you can throw a few dustings of fine gravel and cow s*it on the steep downhil bends that'll be even better" option with a "honest sharrie it looked like a good main road on the map" automatic response. Thanks to everyone for a brilliant weekend. Apart from Stormforce8's route on Friday - the one where we managed to follow the rain cloud all day!

Arrived home at 7 after a leisurely plod home. Saw WinXPmaster and Pale Rider, as they passed us just before Tamworth Services.
Got mobbed by our two kids when we got in and had a whirlwind of tour of what they did while we were away, followed by the dreaded homework!
Thanks all for a great weekend. Special mention for Whealie, thanks for assisting the camping numpties with their cheapo tent (my words not his!) - cheers Chris :thumbright:.
Only one problem - needed longer to get to meet all the folks who came out to Dartmoor - what a turnout!

thats normal road surfaces down here nowadays, devon county council have a budget of 8p to spend on roads and they spend it on grass seed and the farmers supply free cow crap to help it grow

Soopah weekend despite arriving late and leaving early. Banging hangover (Jail Ale) didn't stop me from loving the ride home. Great twisty little roads with a amazing view just around the next corner. Back in the land of the living,
Thanks to all for organisation and attending, it was my first national and hopefuly not my last.
Highlights for me were the 25 bike rideout on Friday, never done that before.
The roundabouts were awsome, trying to get rid of the chicken strips,
filtering through long traffic queues and generally mucking about with the cars.
Having a few wets and a good laugh with friendly people and putting names to faces, some matched what you though they would be and some did not.
Travelling 1762 miles in 5 days on my alp.
Low points, loosing one of my ignition keys on way down, Sat nav crapping out, wet tent and stuff, some one saying transalps are **** and you have to be over 50 to appriciate a bonevilles( no soul at all), loosing contact with lowflyer on the way back. Havn't heard from him yet.

got back last night about 8pm after a fairly long(though thankfully dry) ride rode back with winxp and tendays blasted back with us as far as birmingham. had a really great time although traffic made gettin there a slow process making me one and a half hours late for the RV at gordano services with stuart123456789,KAM and tendays i stopped in there anyway and to my surprise, the three of them had waited for me which was much appreciated cheers for that lads. everything went great once we'd sorted out my khyam maypole thanks to chad(is there anything that lad cant fettle?) i took a few good snaps of phil and pistol petes ballsy attempt at the river crossing and a some other interesting pics including the irate driver who lost his wing mirror, side window and his cool with chad. i'll post them up just as soon as i figure out how.. all in all a great weekend stormforces magical mystery tour was brilliant. and sharrie, i would definately be up for another hangover in wales in february that you talked about.might be best if i leave the tent at home for that one what do you reckon:mrgreen:
