She's here, much heralded and long awaited and worth every nanosecond it took to arrive.
As soon as I entered the showroom I fell in love.....(and the bike's not bad to look at either!:D) Directly in front of me, standing quietly was a vision, ready, willing and able, 'dressed to the nines (in a breath taking ensemble of blue, orange and black)', a 'stunner' in the most extreme sense of the word.
No words, no gestures were necessary, I knew from that first moment she was mine.

Quickly abandonning plans to go up to the mountains before the first service as I wanted to fit a few more goodies to her before we left. (G-2 Throttle Cam etc).
Took her out for a quick run to see if anything needed adjusting for me, clutch/brakes/suspension etc, nope, good to go in every sense of the word.
The performance is simply, mind blowingly, unreal, (despite being unused to the traffic and not knowing the roads etc). The Akro exhausts, caused every single, parked car fitted with an alarm, to go off as I passed, now that definitely puts a smile on your face!:D Manila, is an urban nightmare, traffic wise, but she just flew through it. After 30 minutes, I returned to the dealer, 'gobsmacked', with an expression on my face like a 'stunned mullet'. Don't get me wrong, I do sincerely love my AT and always will, but this young lady, is a whole different ballgame.
The only downside to the whole affair, was the horn:(. Pathetic, is too small a word for what our Austrian friends have fitted as standard, it actually verged on the embarassing, (Maybe in UK, they give you a better one, but over here I felt I could have farted louder:rolleyes:). However, with the help of UKP15.00, a new Stiebel Nautilus, will solve that little hiccup, (to be fitted next week with the TC), without affecting the warranty either.
Very reluctantly, I left her where I found her, as I have to go home tomorrow.
Probably Thutsday next week, I'll be reunited with the new love of my life and drive off into the sunset......... to live happily ever after.:D

Don - bloody hell torture !!! - you had a 30 minute ride and then had to leave her ?????

But it's all you expected and more eh ???:thumbright:

Quite simply, the best all round motorcycle I have ever owned, and I've been riding bike for 33 years.

But you have got the best coulor - the "S" is just too tall for my wee pins.
