Hey all,

After seeing the peli case panniers thread last week I decided to copy dee (it was a cracking idea!).

I ordered the cases (i splashed out on their locks as well), in total these came to £100 (they were brand new). Once i ordered them i set about figuring out how to fit them, i looked at the touratech site and decided that £43 for the kit to fit just one was too much so decided on making it for myself!

So here is how i did it all for under £20!

I went round a couple of DIY shops, focus, B&Q etc When i stumbled on some aluminium u shaped strips in Homebase (of all places) so decided on that. I wanted to make a locking device that could be accessed from inside the box, after looking at the puck thingys i had an epiphany, and bought a couple of rubber door stops (guess what i did with these?), any how long story short i'll let the pics do the rest of the talking!

Let me know what you think?

need job, and good value. Are you sure one puck/lock thing is enough?

I suppose there are still 3 fixing point nicely traingulated, so probably.

Doh... I have just answered my own question - ignore me I have had a hard day:(

Interesting! :blob4: How did you fix the lower U channel? Nuts or bolts would press against the pannier rails, so I'm curious.
