Got back home yesterday after an epic, solo, mini adventure, (lots of piccies and report to follow when I get organised!)
Had an absolute ball, what a bike and what a trip! Had a couple of low points, but mainly a great experience that I'll cherish for the rest of my life.
I think it was here, someone said previously, that the Adventure 990 was the type of bike that Mr Honda should have modelled a modern day Africa Twin after.
I totally agree, performance was awesome, even with full luggage, over 1600kms in 3 1/2 days, at least 200kms of which were off road in utterly sh*t surface and weather conditions. Learnt an awful lot about the bike and myself (at least, my ability!), "magic"!
Here's a taster or two! :D: -
