Hi everyone my transalp won,t start ,The engine will turn over petrol is getting to the cylinders ,My last run on the T.A. was two weeks ago the week before that i fitted new plugs, air filter, fuel filter, and covered over 400 miles over two days the bike never missed a beat .Last week i wheeled the T.A. out of the shed turned on the fuel set the choke hit the starter button ,bike turns over but wont start,No spark at any of the plugs .I have checked the back of the fuse box, fuses, connections,The kill switch has been bypassed for two years after packing in on the motorway , all wires i can see ,petrol tank off ,side panels off, no side stand switch neutral light lights up ,all lights, indicators, horn all work .I thought the rectifier regulator has "blown" but if that was the case the battery would boil up,so the next idea would be the C.D.I. units "one of these failed about two years ago but it was like going on to reserve chugging for about half a mile then going on to one cylinder " .So if anyone has has had this or knows how to cure it would be a great help.thanks fw600vj
