View Full Version : Improving the site
I want to improve the site from your point of view.
Ultimately I will move the site to a new domain. www.trailbike.org.uk
I know that the xrv bit gives it an Africa Twin bias but I'm really keen to keep the other Honda trail bikes users catered for and grow this side.
So any ideas. What do you want to see? What will make it better for you?

And what an excellent job you have done / are doing.
I think I've said it before, I liked the old logo

Ahh yes.
Ok I prefer the new logo but I can probably do it with a Transalp instead of an AT. Would that be better?
My theory is that which logo is used at the top could be random so either an AT, TA or Varadero. Maybe remove the www.xrv.org.uk ??

The life and soul of successful sites seems to be the banter forum, whatever name it goes by. So I guess as well as changing the name to make the site more obviously intended for 'Alp or Dommie riders you should make that more visible. Maybe.
I dunno. I do promise not to ruin by posting my inane ramblings, for the right price, though! :D
We have the chatter forum for such things as your inane ramblings John. It would be a pleasure to hear them :-) I think.
I'll work on equaling out the Transalp and other trail bikes...... they key to that as well is with the search engines. At the moment we're ranked in the 1st page for Africa Twin searches on Google but not for Transalp. I'll need to work on that.

Wouldn't discard the www.xrv.org.uk I think. Lot of people are used to that url and might not find it again. Unless you tell them lots and lots of times that the url is changed to trailbike....

Mmm... as the AT is made no more and the TA is wot is the one to Domminator, must try some Varadero,
Any help ?
Well just trying to help.
Wouldn't discard the www.xrv.org.uk I think.
No, I won't get rid of that. It would just point the www.trailbike.org.uk site or vice versa.
At the moment they all point to this site.
