I imagine that nobody has an electronic version of Mr H's service manual for the TA .... do they ?

Specifically of the '03 variety ...

If they were to put PDFs up on their web site and charge £5 to download we would all be happy ... well I would anyway.

Its too risky really and straying to far in my opinion.
Haynes put a lot of effort in to the manual and for only a few quid you can have the real mccoy. I would strongly advise buying it.
However after a quick search it does appear to be available for download from the peer to peer servcies. I've just checked the eDonkey network and found it available there.

Just reading back if you mean the official Honda one then that is available cheaply I understand from dealers as a photocopy, or again it may be available from one of the peer to peer networks.

Sorry folks, I did mean the Honda version.

I agree that to post an 'illicit' copy of Haynes would be a few steps too far - since they have invested the time to create a manual based on practical experience of the tasks.

Having spent a few grand on one of their motorcycles it might be friendly of Honda to provide those of us inclined to do the work ourselves the means to do so safely ... but then I guess they see it as doing 'their' dealers out of service income.

Do HOC members get any special offers in this area ? - have not seen it on the site when I have been there.

Yes I can see your point.

Dave,
Dunno what it's like in old blighty, but here in Oz the roguing b*#%@#***s want $120 Au per copy.
It is 370+ pages so perhaps it's worth it..........
Yes, I bought one, reluctantly. It's really not a great photocopy, but the info within is more comprehensive than the Haynes and is post 2000 model specific.
Ever tried to get a decent copy of the parts fiche ?? Now that one is a toughy. Honda Oz supply a copy of the original fiche only, poor quality.
A mate in Singapore scored a 2000/2001 fiche in really good order from somewhere in the UK, maybe the 2002/2003 version is available, or even the 2004.
Has anyone contacted their dealer in the UK to see if the parts from the 2005 model are available yet ??
I really like the 3D effect side fairing decals ( on the 2005 ).........would gladly swap with someone for those.

Loads of Haynes manuals on CD, check fleabay only a couple of quid.

I have an original Honda item for a 600 Alp, they are much more informative than Haynes, but only really superior if your'e doing a ground up rebuild.

IMHO
