This is the seat we had made up for 2-up touring. Made by P&P seating in Birmingham.

Very nice!
But how does it sit? How comfortable is it?

Its quite comfortable - still gives you a sore butt after a full day on the road though. Its a tiny bit lower than the std seat which cramps my long legs a bit but this year I will probably travel with a sheepskin cover on it which will a, improve the comfort & b, make it that little bit higher.
My pillion in a milion loves it. She is quite short (& light) so having her up that much higher dosent upset the balance noticeably. She can now see over my shoulders & look forward which has hugely improved her enjoyment of travelling on the bike, & makes it easier for her to navigate, read road signs, take pics on the fly, etc. As I have said before, it also helps under braking, stopping her from sliding forward on the seat.
I still use the std seat for solo riding though.

Yep, that looks just what I'm looking for barring the lowering aspect (poorly knees). Did you have any gel-pads built in?

Nope. It was expensive enough as it was. The gel pads were an extra squillion quid (or thereabouts)
