Has anyone fitted Acerbis Rally brush guards to a standard TA 92. I'd like to fit some but I'm unsure if they will fit ok, or if they'll crunch into the front screen?

Regards

Hello,

I run these on both my TAs. You've got to mess with 'em a bit, but you can get them to not touch the screen (or the tank).

Here's a side view on one of my TAs (that screen on there has been cut and ground... it's not off the shelf so it looks a bit odd).

Just a note... I like the all plastic rally guards as they act as the fusible link. I'd much rather have some flex in my guards so that my bars don't take the hit.

Bought a set of Rally bush handguards, but by the time I've got the clamp on the right, the brake res and pipe are in the way. I could cut the guard, but the angle looks wrong.

Any advice, anyone?

I've got the all plastic rally guards on both bikes. Mine fit perfect. The guards should be fitted so that the levers are being protected (angled downward inline with the levers and not level with the ground). The all plastic models flex and this helps when fitting them.

Keep at it. Just keep all fittings loose unitl you get them how you like. Also, be sure to check that they don't hit the tank or screen. You can mod the screen, but the tank's not worth the guards. :P

I fitted rally guards on a Dominator I had.
It needed an L shaped brake line banjo, so I replaced the line with a Goodridge. This lifted the line over the brushguard.
