The greenlane is a old Roman road that runs between Cowlam/Sledmere Monument/Fridaythorpe (was originally from York to somewhere around Danes Dyke/Flamborough).
Tea and cake stop at Fimber roundabout.
Very steep hill (which doesn't look very steep at all on the pic's) at Millington Woods.
Still haven't cleaned the sh*t off the bike, I think I prefer it that way!

Not sure - there are loads of green lanes around here. I think we probably did about 10 or 12 miles in small sections...longest about 3 miles.
That's what I've noticed too - it takes a lot longer to do a few miles when greenlaning compared to road riding. Average speed probably would be around 10mph.
