I used the bike tyre company in Dublin, and their prices are pretty keen, http://www.thebiketyreco.com/
think it was around 250 front and back fitted.
Harry'sTyres Belfast 048 9045 3553 from the South 028 9045 3553 from the North are reccomended by others
I got Metzeler tourances on my machine - and they're pretty decent for the work i put it to - roads (the most off roading i've done is driving around a field to put up my tent)

Harry's tyres are good. Got my Tourances there last year (about £120 fitted f/r if I remember right).

Hi Macrab if you are a current member of M.A.G. Motorcycle Action Group you will also get a discount of up to 10% . There is a M.A.G. Ireland group based in Dublin. Just show your card to the guy who fits the motorcycle tyres " he rides a VFR as far as i remember, i can,t remember his name . fw600vj

yesterday i had replaced the tires on my T.A. whith 2 michelin anakee: fully dynamics & sport perfomance on road... wonderfull riding, plus control & professional silicius compound!!! i feel more safety whit them on my bike
I got a pair of Tourances from Crossans in Newry sent to me in Kerry for £122 - I fitted them myself which was no problem. Bike Tyre Co came nowhere near, I tried them. I have bought tyres from Horsepower in Co Meath by post and they weren't too bad, but you'll find it hard to beat the places north of the border.... Just depends if you're able to put them on yourself...
