Hi,
Glad to hear you chaps had a good time up there in Scotland, we (Old Wilko, Luggster and me) too had some cracking weather the week before, shame we couldn't meet up, but as we were heading South on Friday you guys were heading North and we must have passed somewhere around Glasgow? (only just picked your message up XRV Jim-sorry)
Anyway we tried to fit quite a bit in the 6 days we were there and even managed to find a campsite on Loch Long (round the corner from Loch Lomond) on the first day after travelling up from Banbury!

But well worth it for the view from the summit...You could see Kyle of Localsh and Applecross in the distance .....

Next day we headed south east towards Inverness and took in some fantastic scenery...
http://www.xrv.org.uk/getimage.php?id=805
then took a detour to see Loch Monar down a fantastic track through Glen Strathfarrar...
http://www.xrv.org.uk/getimage.php?id=830
we then managed to scrape past the tourist trap that is Loch Ness on the way down........
http://www.xrv.org.uk/getimage.php?id=818
And arrived right at the foot of Glen Nevis for our final night where we saw rain for the first time!
The next day we decided to head home but a memorable time had by all (missing it already). Would of liked to have headed further north but as always time and lack of sleep was to take it's toll!
Looking forward to seeing your pics and where you chaps went.
Cheers
