Very belated photos of the run hope you enjoy

http://www.xrv.org.uk/getimage.php?id=1416

http://www.xrv.org.uk/getimage.php?id=1417

The first nights camp for me at the Red Squirrel campsite Glencoe. We all now know why they allow campfires.

http://www.xrv.org.uk/getimage.php?id=1413

They heard we were coming.

http://www.xrv.org.uk/getimage.php?id=1412

A Slight detour to Eilean Donnan Castle for those of us not passed this way before.

http://www.xrv.org.uk/getimage.php?id=1410

Back to Shiel Bridge and over the pass to Glenelg and the Kylerhea Ferry.

http://www.xrv.org.uk/getimage.php?id=1411

Then on across Skye to catch the sun setting over the next camp at Flashader.

http://www.xrv.org.uk/getimage.php?id=1414

The next day we had a good run around the north of the island, with a visit to Neist point, the islands in the distance are the Hebrides.

http://www.xrv.org.uk/getimage.php?id=1407

Some of us found the going a little tiring.

http://www.xrv.org.uk/getimage.php?id=1352

The group then split for the journey south. Myself, XRV Jim and Fewtree’s continuing the adventure.

Lunch stop at Isleornsay on the road to Armadale.

http://www.xrv.org.uk/getimage.php?id=1402

Crossing to the main land and Mallaig.

http://www.xrv.org.uk/getimage.php?id=1418

It was then decided to ride out to the Ardnamurchan peninsula
and visit its lighthouse.

http://www.xrv.org.uk/getimage.php?id=1415

When the road ended Jim couldn’t stop intime ( or so he told us ).

http://www.xrv.org.uk/getimage.php?id=1404

http://www.xrv.org.uk/getimage.php?id=1401

Wild camp near Achnaha.
Sheep poo does burn when wood supplies run out.

http://www.xrv.org.uk/getimage.php?id=1355

To save time we took the ferry over to Mull from Kilchoan to Tobermory.

http://www.xrv.org.uk/getimage.php?id=1405

http://www.xrv.org.uk/getimage.php?id=1350

What’s the story in ‘Balamory’ today.
It was a great breakfast and GPS lessons from Fewtree’s before we travelled south to catch another ferry to Oban.

http://www.xrv.org.uk/getimage.php?id=1351

The trip had tired my fellow travellers.

http://www.xrv.org.uk/getimage.php?id=1406

Roll on the next adventure.
Thanks Guy’s and Red Setter.
