I'm intending to go to Spain for the GP, riding through France, if anyone is interested in coming along, feel free.
Generally i'm not a big race goer as they can be a bit commercialised, but went to Valencia last year, loadsa fun.
Cheste is only a couple of miles from the circuit and is completely taken over by bikers for the weekend and not to be missed!
No time schedule arranged yet, I'm aiming to go for a week to 10 days or so.
It'll sure beat the crappy UK weather in November!!!

Hi Chad.
I Haven't posted a ride report yet, been having comp hassles, and on dial up and can't manage to get pic's accepted on this site
It was my first trip abroad on a bike, to do it solo seemed a bit daunting, soon got used to the idea tho
Utterly. utterly superb, I'm not a race fanatic, but the atmosphere is like nothing else, worth going even if you never watched the racing!
I fancy pushing the boat out and going abroad twice this year on the bike, considering the Stella in July.
Very tempted to go to Valencia again next end Oct/Nov, let's face it it's crap here at that time of year and extending the summer for 2 more weeks, with superb roads, superb scenery, superb atmosphere and BEER  . Well, it'd be a shame NOT to
Lot's of BEER oh, and all the tom-foolery that the "daft lads" ALWAYS get up to when drunk with a bike and an audience.
Aaah, bliss.
More the merrier
Phil
right now im gonna start buttering the wife up
can't manage to get pic's accepted on this site

I camped at Valencia (well Cheste), and mainly camped getting to and from the circuit through France/Spain, but using a couple of hotels also.
Finding campsites is difficult in November though
Accomodation is available at both Cheste and Chiva, which are both within a few miles of the circuit, if that is preferred.
Met up with a couple of guy's from near Doncaster (both on GSX1400) who routinely camp at the rest areas on the Peage.
Rode home on the first day and camped at one with these guys, well eorth going on the Peage just to get a camping spot!
They come fully equiped with petrol station (not all), toilets, showers, coffee machines and picnic tables!
But as they are used as a truck stop you do get the odd wagon rolling past in the early hours
These two guys did get robbed at one, where the tent was slit and emptied fortunately the scum only took "easy money" stuff, camera/cash etc.
I guess it could happen anywhere, they do it to Wagon drivers too, apparently they use gas to avoid waking you from the beauty sleep :?
Slept with bum bag/valuables in the sleeping bag from then on for safety :?

I would like to tag along if I could, depending on numbers and your route to Spain accomodation could be arranged at chez wobblemonster.
I am going to Le mans for the GP, any of you guys going?

Possibly.
Currently looking into a trip starting off with le mans GP, ending up with the catalunya GP, and a lap of western Europe and a couple of laps of the Nurburgring in the month between the two.
