Right ladies and gents...

here http://www.transmedenduro.com you can find the pictures of my 2 month summer trip, along with a groovy zoomable map and a blog that I wrote "on the road" (if you've got a spare week to read it!). Scroll to the bottom and work your way back up!

Enjoy!

Drawmer....just standard Honda panniers as far as I'm aware, came with the bike when I bought it! Should be able to pick them up anywhere. Think they are made by Hepco and Becker.

I like the look of your high front mudguard on your pics..where did that come from?!

Its sort of a trend here in Singapore, some fabrication shops Mod and mass produce them, even make GS1100 beaks, but pricy, bout $200 Singapore Dollars, don't know how much in Ur currency.

The one on my Twin is from KTM, one of their '04 model i think, Black Plastics, not sprayed.

It was already on, when I got the Bike 2nd Hand.

At a guess the second one is the Blue Grotto in Capri?

Second one is actually Porto Katziki on the Greek Ionian island of Lefkada...lovely lovely place!

Quite a few on there that qualify as favourites, but I'm not in any of them as I'm holding the camera! Must remember to take a better/keener photographer with me next time! There's only so much you can do with the self-timer!

That recovery truck pic is my least favourite! Man I nearly died getting the dead twin up onto that thing! Good job it was only 48c in Fes that day.

Keep an eye out for my mates green @ by the way - it did a disappearing act aout 2 weeks ago...naturally he's gutted.

I said it was only a guess, went to Capri earlier this year , but didn't get round the grotto, lots of blue seas and limestone cliffs in the med I guess, really pissed off sick at home looking out over the North Staffs Moorlands don't look like any of your pics... hey ho.

Send details in a separate post, there are lots of members round your way, and some of us who trawl up and down the motorways regularly, more than happy to keep an eye out

Yup. I don't care where you go - the wrecker truck is always a sh*t way to travel
The rest looked good though
Was that @ in the first pic tired? You didn't drop it - and it with it's lights on as well!!

Heheheh thats what happens when the foot breaks off your side stand and you try and prop it up using the remaining spike on soft ground!

Actually it happened on tarmac once too in Sicily it was that hot and the bike was so heavy. Cracked my damn screen. Arse.

Just finished reading the trip report - great stuff! Thanks for posting it Robster. Planning something similar in 2007, so I'll be asking you for some advise when the time comes.
