    That's definitely rideable..

How come the tractor 'just made it' then a shed load of people seemed to just walk over?

    Re: Piel Island 24th & 25th April

From the two threads I have read there is either wild camping or teepees, is there any other accomodation options?

I have done next to no off roading and no sand riding is there a tutorial being arranged?

Is the northern contingent got a meeting plan?

    Looking forward to it....

tipis are from the pub - give them a ring to find out what the deal is and what's included. Pub details in the first post in this thread. Other acommodation???? Don't know - ask the pub , they used to have a bunkhouse.

Sand riding..... It will be an easy enough ride, don't worry about it.

Looking forward to it!!!!! Me too

Alba mate, nothing planned so far, waiting to hear what others are doing. Steve T's busy that weekend so can't make it but Lowflyer's keen also a couple of others, I've not cleared leave yet but I'm working on it!
Hopefully a plan will come together!
As for the sand, it'll be a breeze mate, just follow others and if they start to sink stop! but don't sit in one place too long as the vibration will cause the bike to sink!
Only jestin mate, you'll be fine!

Hopefully you'll get the time off ...

I'm sure a plan will come together, at the moment I'm thinking of heading down on the Sat morning meeting for the crossing. Thinking about the A701 excellent road stubled across it last year.

    Should be a blast ....
