If I am unable to ride my bike by then post op would I be able to take my L200 over ? might be useful if people want to lighten their bikes I could take some stuff over, I could also be photo / video taker and maybe tow any one out of the quicksand I mean safety vehicle

I will qualify this that if I can ride I will be riding

I used to go over to Piel in the boat and camp in the castle. They had paraffin lamps in the pub which the landlord used to pump up when it got too dark to find your pint. They've spoilt it now with mod cons like electricity!

The sand is quite firm and flat so no probs on the bike. The tide does come in quite quick though so don't leave it too late. I've seen quite a few vehicles disappear under the water over the years.
