It's on.....off road in Galloway forest park 14/15th August

Me and Ffi are up....just. Need to drop the kids off at the in laws and finish packing - bag wont fasten, looks like we are taking too much stuff again I wont live it down if I dont pack Ffi a jumper this time...unlike Piel where we didnt have the space.

Setting off at 12:00. Quick stop in Warrington to get supplies, short hop up the M6 to around Carnforth then across to Windermere, up to Ullswater and maybe join the M6 again at Penrith, or maybe a bit further North. Weather will dictate the route.

Thanks LT. I HAVE made a note of Pattersons number. Hopefully we won't need his services. Also thanks on the traffic. We will have a look before we set off. I can always go south down to Castle Douglas.

Are you going to make an appearance! You are more than welcome we eill be leaving 10.30 on Saturday.

I know some will be on there way by now but for those who are not yet on there way here is a wee traffic heads up. The Galloway farm show is on on Saturday and the show ground is north of the Ken Bridge on the A713. I would expect the surrounding roads to be busy early AM and from 4PM ish with 4x4's with trailors, cattle floats etc.
This phone number :- 01556610249 is for Pattersons motorcycles ( Honda ). He is an ex moto and road racer and one of his mechanics still does moto ( CRF ). It might be worth someone giving him a call and telling him what's going on this weekend, he might make himself available for any breakdows ( hopefully none ). He is a top bloke, just a thought. Might be worth someone jotting down the number or pass it on to the organizers.
