Kyoto Wavy Discs
Has anybody tried these? I need new discs on the front of my @ and these are considerably cheaper than EBCs or Originals. They look pretty neat too!
Cheers Dylan

Re: Kyoto Wavy Discs
Thanks for that. I've pretty much decided to go for Honda originals I think. Wavy discs may look good but I want good brakes rather than pretty brakes

Re: Kyoto Wavy Discs
Wavy disks are used for two main purposes
1# they don't tend to overheat like a solid disk 2# they're designed to clean the pads (hence they eat through pads) They don't tend to be less efficient than standard disks (mainly due to both of the above) and are used in a lot of race scenarios..

Re: Kyoto Wavy Discs
I have braking wavey discs on my busa and get through a set of front pads every 4500 - 5000 miles. not that bad really. but much better stopping power than standard......

Yes they're great for removing contaminents for your dips into a muddy field but not for any other time. If you are gonna get wavys then get a lot larger disks (this'll mean a lot larger caliper mounts) but don;t expect miracle results unless you do a lot of mud work...
