Removable Indicators

Anyone made any brackets for the rear indicators so that they can me easily removed for green lanes so they dont snap off if knocked??

I think even those bendy stalked ones will break as they will stick out the further than the rest of the bike.

So if anyone has any ideas it would be good to hear!

Cheers, Tim

Re: Removable Indicators

Whealie might know he's always throwing his bike down ditches etc. He'll probably be along in a minute.

Re: Removable Indicators

haha well just had a bit of a brain wave, they are few and far between! think i might use these:

I can mount the female part into the rear fender, then male part will mount to the indicators, just a simple case of pulling them out then when you head off road then!

Yeah my dr hasnt got indicators on it yet, but feel as im doing a fair amount of road stuff as well they would be a handy thing to have

Re: Removable Indicators

Well after a bit of bodging I came up with this solution, worked out really well. The plugs are tight enough fit for them not to rattle out and to take the indicators out you just have to pull them off and bung em in your bag when you are off roading.

Proper job!

Re: Removable Indicators

Very neat! I just hope some clown doesn't see the "socket" and decide to plug in a lead running 220v AC
