For sale my 2002 RD07Y Africa Twin
It is in the fastest colour scheme Red White and Blue and is just coming up to 27000 miles. It was MOT'd the day before this years national and I had to replace both front and the single rear brakes discs and all pads at a cost of £400.00. It is taxed until Aug 2010 and has no known mechanical faults. It covered 1200 miles in 4 days up to the national without any issues. It is rarely used and hasn't covered many miles in the 3 years I have owned it. It lives under a blanket in a garage when I am not using it.
It has a tall givi screen fitted and a Motad Venom end can (sounds fab). It also has stainless braided brake lines and Oxford heated hand grips and a natty blue Honda seat. It has a Scott oiler fitted and some funky front foot pegs. I have some spares including the original screen and a leo vince end can that can be included in the sale if the price is right. Some of the pictures show Givi pannier rails and a pair of aluminium Allit panniers that aren't included but are available by separate negotiation. The matched pair of Pirelli Scorpion tyres are in great condition with many thousands of miles left in them. The chain and both sprockets have been replaced with genuine items in the last 3000 miles. All electrics work as new.
There are some issues with the plastics, some cracks in the nose cone , a crack low down in the screen and a scrape on the right side faring panel, not done by me and they are only cosmetic. The wheel rims have the usual pitting with the rear being worse than the front.
The asking price is offers around £2995.00, I have set the asking price to include the issues with the plastics. One similar to mine (with better plastics) recently went for £3600.00 on ebay.
