NO LONGER AVAILABLE
Rims are much worse than suspected, should not be used on the road as is so are in process of being replaced.

Ater a good poke and prod it DOES need wheel rims now and is not being ridden anywhere until these are sorted so it is not for sale. Big apologies to Tilts, relieved I know though as I would have done another year on them.

Long trip that Tilts for no bike![]()
600 miles Phil, for fook all. Im hoping the young man is going to do the right thing..
Completely lost my love of Honda's after today..hope i get it back..loads of fond memories riding different Honda's over the years..
Hmmm. Don't worry I'll do the right thing Ben.
To be fair I thought the use of the words in the description
'will need rims in the not too distant future'
and the statement via pm
'I will be budgeting £400 for new rims if I keep it'
did highlight an area that I knew was not up to scratch.
I did the right thing when I refunded you the £1750 following your second look with a screw driver before loading up.
Had I any notion the wheels 'would collapse as soon as they hit the road' I wouldn't have had my Dad ride it to Edinburgh and back a few months earlier.![]()
Dont think you had much choice!!!
You hadnt any notion about the wheels Wayne, because you didnt have a clue about the bike, bit of advice..Wash and maintain your bike regulary..best way to notice any thing that come lose, and you may notice completely rotten wheels.
£75 may not be alot to you, but its alot of money to someone who is unemployed at the moment and is buying a SAFE bike to commute to work in the new year when i start my new job...Yes you did mention concerns about the wheels, but i asked you how bad they where to which you replied.."The spokes are all sound and secure, the worst bit looks to be on one side of rims where water has been sat at some point.... I am not concerned yet - I would have no qualms about a long journey at 90mph on it! " (taking from a personnel massage from waynes world"
I was more concerened about the drive spline, but when i decided to check the wheel, i couldnt believe how bad they where, and dont forget i had another member of the forum with me who also witnessed the wheels.
I made the 600 mile round on your word that the wheels were safe, i was going to travel up by train and ride the bike back to s.wales, thank god i didnt, or i would have been in hospital or even worse dead if i had ridden that death trap at 90mph..
I took that comment as the truth, you had not even check the wheels so how on earth could you make a comment like that, i will be contacting trading standards, i gave you the chance to do the right thing in my eyes, but as expected you declined to refund my fuel bill. There's true bikers out there, and there's the type who think they are...ive been involved in motorcycle for over 20 years, and have never come across what i did yesterday...end of the day dude, you tried to flog me a death trap, regardless whether you knew about it or not...
Happy Christmas.
This is the second time in as many months that good friends of mine have been palmed off with dangerous (NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE) motorcycles from this site.
WHAT THE F**KS GOING ON.

Can't help thinking that this thread is getting out of hand.
I'm sure that Wayne gave you the information based on what he thought correct at the time.
The fact that it turned out to be much worse (in your eyes) is the reason we go & check used items over before we buy them, sure 600 miles is a long way for nothing but sh*t happens. Get over it.......
