Wanted: XR650R

Looking for a Honda XR650R for some easy trail riding and European tours around their trails. I know of these bike reputations but not had any personal experience of them. I am predominately looking for one with dirt wheels but would consider a SM.

Is their anything out there for sale or anybody know of anything? eBay is pretty thin on good looking examples at the moment.

I am near Portsmouth but would travel a reasonable distance for a decent bike.

There were two on the MCN website, one in West Wales thats sold and another in Odiham that the guy has decided to keep. Pehaps I'll have to shoot out and get the paper to have a look. Any idea where its located?

I travelled 500 miles on a round trip to get mine, sold it now tho,
they are a good big trail bike but touring your going to need to change the oil every 800 miles, brilliant bike stops at nothing except when you fall off, good luck they are sort after machine.
On the other hand why not look at a DZR 400.

I would rather have the XR400 if going to go that route...still more regular oil changes but its a Honda

suzuki's oil service interval on drz is 3500 miles

Although off topic I cant work out why an XR needs oil changing every 600 miles and a DRZ that puts out more power and if I remember right ,has slightly less oil and that can go to 3500 miles?????
