Well I have no idea where to start on this..... let's see how we go....
I'm selling my Beemer as I've just bought a Super Tenere.. fancied a change so the GS has to go now.. although I'm not in any mad rush to sell it, but then again it is taking up space, so will always do a deal to move it quickly.
I'm happy to do a deal with bits, without bits, or any combination thereof.
If you take the bike as is.... with everything, clean it up yourself and fit the parts you want and sell what you don't want, I'll take £2800 for a quick sale. As time allows I'll clean it up fit the spare parts and the price will change to reflect that.
It's looking dirty and in some areas, there's the odd bit of rust, and is showing signs of the daily commute it's been used for.... but the good news is that I have spare bits that I've been collecting over the years to sort some of these areas out.
So I have spare good condition exhaust down pipes, front forks, front telelever suspension, etc, etc...
It's had a Bagster tank cover on at all times from when I've had it so the tank is in great condition.
It has a spare set of wheels with discs, ABS rings, etc... and shod with TKC80's so that you can swap between knobblies and road tyres in about 20 mins.
It has the original tool set under the seat and puncture repair kit fully stocked. Repair a puncture in about 15/20 mins.
Generally speaking I have serviced it more than the required intervals, but it has had the occasional service in a BMW dealer.
I have masses of receipts for servicing parts to show that it's been done regularly.
It does smoke a bit occasionally on start-up, when used daily it doesn't. I'm told by the BMW dealer that's absolutely normal!
It has the following extras, most fitted to the bike:
Original Owners Handbook plus spare keys.
Meta Alarm (professionally fitted) plus extra Alarm fob.
Adventure Beak
BMW Heated Grips
Touratech Rear Mudguard
Touratech Rear Brake Extension
Touratech Fork protectors
Rugged Roads fatter foot
Extra Power Accessory Socket
Full BMW Pannier set, keyed to the ignition key
Givi Top Box
Hepco and Becker Engine Bars, (not on the bike at the moment) although these these really need powder coating to get them back to good nick.
Bagster Tank Bag that fits on to the Bagster tank cover.
I have some service spares such as plugs, filters and pads for front and back.
Probably some more stuff that I've forgotten about.
There is an Autocom unit, plus heated gear leads, plus Sat Nav mount for a Zumo 660. I guess I can do any deals to leave any of this on the bike, but I was intending to remove the items for fitting to the new bike.
2003 BMW R1150GS ABS EVO model
Black
46,800 Miles
Taxed till 31st March 2012
MOT'd until Jan 2012 but will happily MOT it for 12 months. It should sail through as it has on all others.
Any questions then let me know......
