Picked my beloved GS1150 (Bolts) back from having the clutch changed, what a differance he feels like a new bike. What I Had complete original BMW clutch kit all new seals in the gear box, clutch slave, exhaust heat sheild and loads of free advice on how to look after and prep the bike for off roading and general maintanance.
The bill came to just £600 a fraction of the cost of a BMW dealer.The mechanic or should I say BMW God Mike Pearce from Cardiff had 15 years with Cardiff BMW now has his own workshop he looks after all the BMW offroad school bikes, Police and every one elses in South Wales. He is also been asked by TT Rally Raid to do their bikes at next years (DAKAR) Patagonian Rally so he nows abit.

J I take it he's really, really good. My 1150 will need a service after The Longest Day and before we go to Italy. It will be the 80,000 km service. That about 60,000 miles?

Might use it as an excuse to visit you and Sharri and get it done there rather than go to a BMW main dealer.
