Got to admit that this a monster of a bike .

Brutal is a way my mate described it after a test ride.

One of my work mates has the "standard" version , he commutes about 160 miles a day - every day - all year round. He has had VFRs , several GSs and has the ability to make any bike look tatty in a very short space of time........... but his K1200 looks brand new - the finish is trully outstanding - and he describes it as the fastest scariest thing he has ever owned. It sure is odd looking close up , it is very long and low ............

But the standard of finish does it for me .......... if it can live with Garry it should last a lifetime.

Yep I like it, but seems like they went cheap on styling and used the light from the F800GS which are really the wrong shape for this bike.

Nah F800GS copied the K1200 I'm afraid

Please don't encourage him, he doesn't get proper use out of he 2 he's already got. And that's my inheritance he's spending, although I can't see either of my sisters wanted motorbikes so maybe it's not such a bad idea

Whatever you think, it does have nice exhausts though! Glad I've ordered a set now!
