bmw

hello everyone, im thinking of getting myself a new bike at some point, was looking at a bmw f650 gs, but im only 5ft2, is there any way i can lower them and what parts do i need, can anyone help? thanks

you can get a lower seat, drop the forks through the yokes a little and you should be fine.

The Dakar model will be much too tall for you so stick to the regular F650GS with the 19" front wheel.

Fiona I have a friend who is only just over 5ft and she rides a 1100 GS.

My little f650 GS is tiny, I can sit on it with both feet on the floor and have bent knees (I am 5ft 8")

You can get lowered seats and do stuff with the suspension, and I can't speak highly enough about the bike, it really is a cracking little bike.

Yes, you can get some suspension parts that do the job. Kouba, promoto maybe? not cheap though.

The F650 and 800 both come as a lowered bike as a factory option, pop along to your local dealership and try one

I've quite often seen lowered one's of these advertised.....just keep an eye out.

You probably won't need one lowered, just get a lower seat and safe about £600. As boboneleg said, the Dakar will be too tall for you so just go for the standard F650Gs.

well, ive gone and done it, ive got myself a f650gs in red, hope to pick her up in the next week or so, i will post pics asap, im soooooooooooo excited, cant wait to get on her,
