    Dear Lord! GS accessories...

    Or "All you need to know about GSers".

    I know BigRog will remind me that all bikers are friends, but I was at a Beemer dealership yesterday and saw a well used adventure bike which piqued my curiosity. I approached it from behind, impressed that the luggage had taken such a bashing in just the four years since the bike had been made, to discover that the knackered old alu-boxes were on a pristine and well-cleaned R1200GS. Well fair enough: btbloke bought his boxes second hand, but there was better to come.

    Mounted -

    that is, mounted -

    that is, in a proper holder attached to the handlebars -

    that is, as a permanent accessory -

    conveniently close to the left hand, in an upright position and ready-to-use, was a dainty little tube of raspberry lip-salve.

    I tell you, those GSers think of everything. Though I didn't see where his AA membership card was mounted.
