    Very nice looking bike.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

    Re: BMW R80 GS Basic

I'm beginning to get desperate now, finding a bike for next year adventures.
I think a good R80GS Basic would fit nicely in my garage
And this one sure looks good IMO

    hat happened to your BM?
it could come in handy for spares for that one.

    Kjell?

    I think I hate you....

Now that I've got my petty jealousies out of the way, back to business.

If you want and can fit another BM into your garage, I say go for it.

But let's be honest: looking at the condition of those bikes, and considering they could all be used for any adventure, I think we can say that another BM would not get used for your adventures any more than one of the existing lot!!!!

So, I say also get an XT600/DR650, TA etc and go off adventuring on that!! (even the new Tenere)

Oh,,, no! None of them are mine! A missunderstanding!
I do not even own a bike right now, after selling my RD03 some weeks ago.

But, if I can not find a near mint RD04, I might turn to the "Dark side" and find an Airhead like the ones in the pictures.

    You are forgiven!!

In that case, I think you would have a fine bike in that Basic.

And if you did decide to go adventuring, I expect it would be more than capable!
