Thanks Guys for your useful comments, I can rest assured knowing that this is normal, off to the shops to get some oil, and a shot gun to stick up the mad Italian's rear end![]()

I thought all agricultural vehicles were expected to burn a bit of oil,check the PTO and make sure there's no leaks, as for getting it up on the centre stand to check it is there someone nearby to help the old sod, maybe ask that young mrs of yours to give you a hand.....................................
Now you know getting all technical with me is wasted, WTF is a PTO ?, anyhow its been stood in the office car park all day, I think I might have noticed a leak. As for getting it up on the centre stand, being a finely balanced bit of kit that it is, I have no trouble getting it up on the centre stand without assistance, (if only other things were that easy to get up
)
BMs are faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar easier to get on their centrestands than Transalps.

20W50 indeed... The ol' airhead boozes down 10W40 like it's Guinness (looks the same eh) and is fairly stable with 20W50.
