    R1200GS comfort?

No peeps, I've not suddenly grown up by 10" I'm not in the market for a 1200! But I've had the following enquiry from some relatives in Oz. Your thoughts and experience would be welcome. Ta in advance.

I/we are looking at getting a BMW R1200 GS, as it would suit the un-made up roads we have all around us. My concern is we'll still end up with numb bit's. Is there any body you know who can give me an educated opinion on this Bike, warts and all?

I've had three 1200's and they're all comfortable once the seat moulds in. Having said that I'm using a sheepskin cover for really long trips

As chad said. Might want to point them into the direction of airhawk seats. I only use my airhawk for longer trips now,say over 400 miles a day. For the rest the originalbseat is brill,as for million. Deb says she likes it more then the varas seat which surprised me a bit
