SW Motech crashbars

Recently fitted some SW Motech bars to my @. When fitted, I found the top of the two front brake hoses snagged against the top corners of the upper fixing bracket on full lock. So what I did was to adhere a small piece of 10mm metal bar onto the lock stops - 1mm thick to the near side and 1.5mm to the off side....these thicknesses prevent snagging whilst still allowing the steering lock to operate, and don't affect turning except for all but the tightest of U-turns. I used Araldite rapid adhesive which seems robust enough.
