Those are some sweet panniers!

Do you do them for an RD03? I'll up Sprocket's bid by throwing in some old mess tins with my stove...and even a few ration packs! How do you like corn beef hash and pork and beans?

Well now, that's just Ludicrous, I may as well go to Touratech and get some...oh no wait, I can't; they don't make them for an RD03...and besides, I'm not a millionaire...

How about I supply you a constant stream of tea and biscuits whilst you tig them up? PG-Tips and Ginger nuts ok?

Re: home made ali panniers

Thanks guys! and ahh no I dont take orders.. I posted the fold plans on here somewhere so have a crack.. I did not use any commercial parts (except for the latches) so feel free to take the plans and make up a set..I do not have any special tools.. I even made up my own racks out of recycled bits and bobs,, so bike model is irrelevant..

Re: home made ali panniers

Now they're impressive! Most pannier manufacturers don't know how to cope with high level exhausts (and every bike has unique shapes in that area), so a custom-made pair will give you good capacity while remaining reasonably narrow. Well done mate; my Dad and I are currently fitting a pair of Peli cases to a Hepco & Becker rack. That relatively simple task alone has caused much head scratching. Yours must have taken a lot of planning (and re-planning!!!)

Well worth the effort.
Better that the bought ones and they enhance the bike.
Well impressed.
