    Brake Bleeding

This is a method I have pinched from Shimano's instructions on how to bleed their hydraulic mountain bike disc brakes. Shimano says to attatch a hose to the bleed nipple, and then tightly cable tie a bag to the end of the hose and suspend the bag from somewhere above the caliper. So now, when you undo the bleed nipple and pump fresh brake fluid through, any bubbles rise up the tube and into the bag. If anything is sucked back into the caliper, it will only be brake fluid (no air).

As I work in the store of a hospital, I managed to aquire this handy bag/tube aparatus which does the job perfectly. It even has a tap in the bag to drain the fluid out .

That is a very good idea, and a far better use of those bags or cathators than originaly intended, last time I saw one it was stuck some where I will not mention .
