Wiring Bodge

I had a wire break on the plug for the rear light of my TA.
Any of you with the 650 will know it has a plug into the bulb holder.
So I bought a new bulb holder from David Silvers and cut all the plastic from around the pins.
I then soldered wires onto the pins, the only colour I could not get was the Green striped one for the Brake Light.

this is the finished plug.
As I am fitting the Panniers With stop / Tail Lights, as Sold in the shop, I made a patch lead to allow for the weather proof plugs to be fitted.

The extra wires are for the plugs, As the wireing on the Lights are RED BLACK and White, I extended them using RED BLACK and GREEN
therefore the patch lead Changes the Blue wire to RED so that it is easier for me to get the colours right when I connect the plugs.
Tail Light working:

and the Brake Light working:
Now I know everything Works it just needs some warm weather to get out and fit the plug to the bike wiring to match the plugs on the mod.
The advantage of the patch wire is when removed the tail light plugs into the normal loom with no trace of the extra wires.
