if you made a handed pair of these in a strong but slightly flexible material like perspex or thick acrylic, then they could do the job, although only for up and down adjustment, it wont tilt.
my mouse skills arent the greatest but if you can understand my drawing, the plates go into the original screen screw holes, but with countersunk screws. the screen then goes over the top and you have various levels of height.
you will need some very short 5mm screws, and the threads in the plates might pull, maybe some helicoils needed.
Thanks Davsato, it was more the tilting fully adjustable all singing all dancing "jobbie" that I fancy and someone to blame other than myself if it flies off at 120

the trouble with the varadero is its all rounded at the front, and the screen screws straight onto the fairing. the v-strom has a smaller screen with an adjustable bracket already there, so its simple to replace it with his own bracket.
it also might wreck the airflow on the vara by suddenly putting the screen 3" away from the fairing? i dont know, it'll be interesting to see the end result.

probably doesnt do one for BigVera yet because they've not been sold in the states until a year or two ago?

i seem to have a habit of buying bikes that arent that mainsteam, with not so many aftermarket bits available. thats where my fetish for DIY parts came from i think
