As well as the rust starting to show up under the tank. Yes, the tank is supposed to be silver on the top AND the bottom, and not light brown as it is in some places. Ho hum.

    There's always something.

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

You should not live so close to the Atlantic.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

Okay, so that's the left hand grill finished.

They are both now hanging up in the shed after being painted.

More pics tomorrow when the paint has dried. Hopefully.

Now then, where did I put that spare mouse mat?

    Mouse mat?

    Yep. Not telling 'til tomorrow.

Boris, I like that a LOT!

Does that mean that everything would need painting green and that the holes in the grill be shamrock shaped. Or would that only be for St Patrick's Day?

Right then, new metal grills all shiny and painted up, waiting for the air deflectors to be fitted.

And here we have the completed right hand side grill fitted to the bike -

And the left hand side -

Just need to find some longer bolts for the top mounts and we're done.

    Famous last words.

Just need to tackle a little bit of corrosion whilst I have the bike "in a state of undress".
